Biography: Isabelle Niekrake is the Second Embassy Secretary Trade and economic advisor for the sectors smart mobility and online economy at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Mexico. Isabelle started working in this position in August 2021. Her previous position was at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as deskofficer for the United States. One of her main roles at the Embassy is to grow the Dutch earning power in Mexico by creating and promoting business opportunities. Isabelle believes that Dutch expertise is unique and can contribute to solving Mexican challenges. Promoting female entrepreneurship is high on her agenda.
