H.E MINAMI Has a BA in Law from the University of Tokyo and an     MA in Economics from St. John’s College, University of Cambridge. Concurrently, Deputy Director-General, Office of Healthcare Policy, Cabinet Secretariat since dec 2022. He has been Ambassador for International Economic Affairs, Ambassador, Representative of the Government of Japan for Public Diplomacy and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Timor-Leste. He also has been a  Deputy Director-General for Global Issues, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Minister, Head of Chancery, Minister in charge of human rights, humanitarian affairs and Specialized Agencies, Permanent Mission of Japan in Geneva.
